Calvin has been devouring books recently. We are almost out of books I brought back last
summer. I guess it’s time to start
looking into kindle books.
So far his favorite has been the imagination station
books and he’s begging to get more of them this summer.
It’s been fun seeing his love for reading grow.
Local school has been a bit more challenging lately, this
week we’ve had plenty of tears during homework time. He’s a perfectionist, so when he doesn’t
think he can do it perfectly he feels defeated, or if he feels like he’s going
to make a mistake it paralyzes him. So I’ve
been doing lots of encouraging and trying to make sure he gets plenty of sleep. Hopefully one of these days he can find a way to cope with mistakes a little better than he is currently.
