It all was going great until this happened.....
I ruined a shirt last night because I splashed some cleaner on me while cleaning out his potty. GRRRR. I didn't bring very many clothes and it was one of the shirts I really liked and planned on wearing it until it fell apart. I wish clothes weren't so expensive here. The other day I stopped into a second hand store and even those clothes were expensive, sometimes more than I would pay for something brand new in America.
So this brings me to a question. How do you clean out these little potty chairs? Since last night's incident I pulled out the vinegar and have been using that. Anyone use any good homemade all purpose spray that does not use Borax or bleach in it?

That is such a bummer!
I make all of my own cleaners. Instead of trying to type them all out on here I'll just give you the link to my blog post about it. I would use either the all purpose cleaner or the tub and tile (which I also use on the toilets) cleaner. Hope it helps!

When it's just pee, I rinse it with water and that's it. I do wash the whole thing with soap and water in the tub occasionally. My favorite thing to clean poop out with is clorox or similar wipes, but those are probably super expensive there. I guess I don't feel the need to disinfect every time, though.
Erica- Walmart is having some great sales, like 2 and 3 dollar shirts. I will gladly send you some if you would like to expand your wardrobe some. Just let me know your size and I'll be on the look out. The shirts I have bought are modest and very basic.
Terri. Thanks for the advice on cleaning. I try to clean it out each time because our bathroom is tiny and things tend to stink sooner because our bathroom is also incredibly hot.
I've never seen Clorox wipes anywhere, but I'm pretty sure we won' have to deal with poop for a while, that's going to be a battle I can already tell.
No idea about cleaning out the potty, baking soda? We use clorox in our adult potty, we don't have little potty. As far as your shirt... I bet there's a way to repurpose it... maybe make a ruffle down the middle or a fabric flower pin... you are way more creative than I am. You'll figure something out!
As the for shirt, if you can find some fabric dye you can just dye it. If you can't find it there, it would be easy to include in a goodie box someone is sending.
